SPORT TERRAINS CONSTRUCTION IN PASI POLJANA HAVE STARTED

President of Palilula Municipality Boban Dzunic, with his associates visited the locality of separate building of Kralj Petar Prvi elementary school in Pasi Poljana where, until the end of March, sport terrains will have been constructed thanks to the project MODERNSPORT that is being realized within the Programme of cross-border cooperation Bulgaria-Serbia. After the implemented tender for the contractor selection in this project phase of `Modernsport`, the Economical society for construction works SLOGA CONSTRUCTION in Kragujevac was elected.

The deadline for the work activities completion on this complex in March 28 2013.

Apart from the work dynamics, it is necessary to regulate the paying for every single situation, said the president of the Municipality of Palilula Boban Dzunic. After that EU and our partners from Bulgaria will refund to our Municipality the resources that were approved. We are saving money for the Republic of Serbia and for all the people of Nis, we are providing money from EU, but also the resources for sub financing of the project from the City budget that are refunded after the donors paying. Aiming at the development and sport promotion at the surface of 4,400m2, the following sport terrains will be constructed in the open in the separate Kralj Petar Prvi elementary school building in Pasi Poljana: volleyball, basketball and handball, tennis court, jogging track, cross jump, athletics track. The value of this investment, that will be realized with the help of EU, is about 218 480.74 E. This project of Palilula Municipality will be realized in the partnership with Botevgrad Municipality within the Programme of cross-border cooperation Bulgaria-Serbia, within IPP Fund with the support of EU.
